Six additional Mega Millions tickets worth at least $600 were also purchased in Fort Smith, West Memphis, Russellville, Paragould and Stuttgart.

The Mega Millions jackpot is $843 million for Friday night’s drawing.
Another Arkansas lottery player recently won big with a $20 instant ticket.
Saline County resident Jose I. won $50,000 with a $50,000 Frenzy ticket purchased at Casey’s #4679, located at 801 Hogan Lane in Conway. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on Oct. 31.
Jose was working in Conway when he decided to stop by a local gas station for a drink. While inside, $50,000 Frenzy’s bright red ticket art caught his attention.
“Give me that one,” he told the clerk.
A weekly lottery player, Jose usually only scratches and scans the barcode of his tickets, leaving the rest of the ticket untouched. This time, he did the same and was greeted with a message telling him to claim his prize at the ASL Claim Center. In a hurry to get back to work, Jose was unaware that he’d just won a $50,000 top prize.
“I knew it was big, but I didn’t know how much I’d won,” Jose told lottery officials.
When he finally realized that he had won $50,000, the lucky winner told his parents and began planning a vacation. He also intends to continue playing lottery games.
Twenty-two $50,000 top prizes remain on $50,000 Frenzy.
