Two Winning Tickets Sold for Natural State Jackpot Drawing; Mississippi County Woman Wins $75,000 Playing $3 Instant Game

Little Rock, Ark.

Mid-March brought big lottery wins for three Arkansans.

Two lucky players bought jackpot-winning tickets for the March 13 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing. The winners will receive $75,000 each, splitting the $150,000 jackpot evenly.

The winning numbers were 3, 8, 22, 29 and 37.

The first winning ticket was sold at University Shell, 3200 South University Ave. in Little Rock, and the second was ordered via Jackpocket.

These tickets are currently unclaimed. The winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

The jackpot for tonight’s NSJ drawing has reset to $50,000.

C. Willis of Mississippi County won $75,000 playing 10X® Cashword, a $3 instant game. She claimed her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on March 13.

The winning ticket was sold at Jordan’s Kwik Stop 16, 1139 W. Main St. in Blytheville.

Willis was on the phone with her fiancé when she discovered her $75,000 win. He had purchased the ticket for her earlier in the week, but the Mississippi County woman left it in a drawer until her curiosity grew too big to ignore.

“I just had to scratch it,” Willis told lottery officials.

As she played, Willis was convinced that she would only win $500. Her fiancé, on the other hand, believed she would win big. Sure enough, her ticket held the eleven words needed to win the instant game’s $75,000 top prize.

“I was hollering, kicking, and screaming,” Willis said. “I finally won!”

Her excitement was understandable; previously, the Mississippi County resident’s biggest win was $100.

So far, the lucky winner has only shared the news with her fiancé and her mother. She plans to buy a home with her winnings.

Two top prizes worth $75,000 each remain on the 10X Cashword instant game.
