Two Unclaimed Powerball Tickets Hold Big Lottery Prizes; Lottery Jackpots Rise for Weekend Draws
Two winning Powerball® tickets for recent drawings have yet to be claimed.
A winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold for the June 12 drawing. The ticket was sold at Super Stop #473 on 101 S. Blake St. in Pine Bluff. The winning numbers were 19, 30, 31, 61 and 62. The Powerball number was 21, and the Power Play® was 2.
Another winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold for the June 1 Powerball drawing. The ticket was purchased at 2920 Highland Express LLC on 2920 E. Highland Drive in Jonesboro. The winning numbers were 28, 38, 52, 54 and 68. The Powerball number was 8, and the Power Play was 2.
Both winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize. The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night is $34 million.
The LOTTO jackpot rises to $2.3 million ahead of tomorrow night’s drawing. Increasing with each draw, it nears LOTTO’s record-highest jackpot of $2.338 million.
LOTTO drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, as well as a bonus number. A player must match these six winning digits drawn in any order to win the jackpot.
The bonus number is not necessary to win the jackpot; instead, it offers players who matched two, three, four or five of the six numbers a chance to win better prizes. For example, the prize for matching five numbers without the bonus number is $1,500, while the prize for matching five of the six numbers drawn plus the bonus number is $25,000.
LOTTO tickets cost $2 per play and are available through licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, the Jackpocket app, Lotto.com, and Jackpot.com. Ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. before each drawing.
For tonight’s drawings, the Mega Millions® jackpot is $47 million, and the Natural State Jackpot is $340,000.
