Two Lucky Arkansans Take Home Big Holiday Prizes; Natural State Jackpot Ticket Worth $460,000 Sold in Maumelle

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

Two Arkansas lottery players claimed massive prizes after last week’s holiday festivities.

A Northeast Arkansas resident won $1 million in the Dec. 20 Mega Millions® drawing. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on Dec. 26.

The winning ticket was sold at Murphy USA 8514, 3714 E. Main St., Blytheville. The winning numbers were 2, 20, 51, 56, and 67 and the Mega Ball® number was 19. The Megaplier® was 2.

The Arkansas resident, a consistent Mega Millions and Powerball® player, purchased the winning Quick Pick ticket as part of his years-long lottery routine.

To his shock, he matched the five winning numbers, landing the game’s $1 million second-tier prize.

“I didn’t believe it,” the winner told lottery officials.

The Arkansas resident is one of five winners nationwide to receive this prize. He plans to pay bills with his winnings.

Another winner from Jefferson County won $200,000 playing the $10 Multiplier Mania instant game. She also claimed her prize on Dec. 26.

The player’s son purchased the winning ticket as a gift for his mother at Bulldog One Stop, 10008 Dollarway Rd. in Pine Bluff.

The woman scratched off the ticket and, stunned, realized she had won the game’s top prize of $200,000. She then showed the ticket to her son, who initially thought she was asking about a bill. Once he understood she was holding a winning ticket, they jumped up and down in excitement.

The Arkansan intends to pay off debt using her winnings.

One $200,000 top prize remains on the Multiplier Mania instant game.

One more lucky Arkansas lottery player could wrap up 2024 with a big win.

A $460,000 winning Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) ticket was purchased at Casey’s #4680 at 8903 White Oak Crossing in Maumelle for the Dec. 22 drawing. The winning numbers were 16, 26, 30, 31 and 33.

This ticket is currently unclaimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
