Two Arkansas Lottery Players Land $50,000 Prizes After Buying Tickets with Their Previous Winnings
Two Arkansas lottery players transformed their previous winnings into even bigger payouts with $50,000 Frenzy.
Bradley Ingle of Cabot won $50,000 on $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game, and claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on Aug. 4.
The winning ticket was sold at VMart LLC, located on 914 W. Main St. in Cabot.
“$50,000 Frenzy’s always been good to me,” Ingle told lottery officials.
Just two weeks ago, Ingle won $1,000 on the same game and decided to use some of his winnings to purchase another ticket. He bought the $20 scratch-off during a short break from his DoorDash shift.
“I’m just going to buy myself a ticket and see what happens,” Ingle thought.
As luck would have it, his ticket held one of many $50,000 top prizes. In shock, Ingle called his girlfriend and his brother to share the good news.
“I called to make sure I wasn’t seeing things—especially in this heat!” he said.
The lucky winner plans to put his prize in savings for now.
Another player, Tammy F. of Washington County, also claimed a $50,000 top prize on the same day. She bought the winning ticket at Murphy USA 7123, located at 3951 N. Mall Ave. in Fayetteville.
Like Ingle, Tammy had previously won smaller amounts on $50,000 Frenzy and decided to try again, using $30 she had recently won. She bought the ticket while running errands and scratched it in a parking lot nearby.
“There was just something about that ticket,” she told lottery officials.
When she realized she had won a top prize, she was in shock.
“I was really in disbelief at first,” she said. “My first thought was, ‘Oh my word!’”
The Washington County woman first shared the good news with her spouse, who was equally surprised. She plans to take a vacation with her winnings.
Thirty-four top prizes worth $50,000 each remain on $50,000 Frenzy.
