Tonight’s Mega Millions Jackpot Jumps to $627 Million; LOTTO Jackpot Rises to $3.266 Million for Saturday Draw
For lottery-playing Arkansans, two multi-million-dollar jackpots are in play with this weekend’s drawings.
For tonight, the Mega Millions jackpot is $627 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. CST. Five balls numbered 1 to 70 and one ball numbered 1 to 25 are drawn. A Mega Millions player must match all six numbers drawn to win the jackpot.
Ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. the night of the drawing, and tickets cost $2 per play. For an additional $1, players can purchase the Megaplier® option to multiply any non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times.
The LOTTO jackpot also rises to $3.266 million for Saturday night’s drawing.
LOTTO is an Arkansas-exclusive draw game designed to give Arkansans more chances to win bigger prizes.
Drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, as well as a bonus number. A LOTTO player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes up to $25,000 are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.
LOTTO tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. the night of the drawing.
A player must be at least 18 years old to purchase any lottery product. Mega Millions and LOTTO tickets are available for in-person purchase via licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, either at the counter or through a ticket vending machine. Tickets are also available online through Jackpocket, Jackpot.com or LOTTO.com.
