Scratch-Off Players Across Arkansas Win Big with Instant Tickets
Three Arkansas lottery players recently claimed their biggest instant prizes yet at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center.
Paul Y., a Baxter County resident, won $300,000 playing Xtreme Money. He purchased the $10 instant game at E-Z Mart #4243, located at 1030 Highway 201 N. in Mountain Home. Paul claimed his prize on Aug. 12.
Paul, a frequent lottery player, initially stopped by the retailer just to escape the heat.
“I really wasn’t going to buy a ticket at first,” Paul told lottery officials. “But I just had a feeling that day.”
Paul was correct: his Xtreme Money ticket held a $300,000 top prize.
“This really was a miracle, I tell you what,” the lucky winner said.
Paul plans to save his winnings.
Xtreme Money has two remaining top prizes worth $300,000 each.
Another winner, Vickie N. from Washington County, won $200,000 on a $10 Diamond Dollars ticket. She claimed her prize on Aug. 11.
Vickie bought her winning ticket at White Oak Station, 2584 N. Gregg Avenue in Fayetteville while out shopping for new school shoes for her grandson.
“Would you buy me a couple of $10 scratchers?” Vickie asked her husband.
The pair returned home with the instant tickets in tow. Vickie scratched them off while her husband slept and quickly realized that one held a $200,000 top prize.
“I jumped off the sofa screaming so loud, I woke up my husband!” Vickie told lottery officials. “I’m still excited.”
K. Lim from Bryant won $75,000 playing Loteria™, a $3 instant game. She claimed her prize on Aug. 12.
Lim bought the winning ticket during a regular gas stop at Happy Mart, located at 11108 MacArthur Dr. in North Little Rock.
“I just buy based on feeling,” Lim told lottery officials.
Lucky for Lim, her intuition led her to a $75,000 top prize.
Lim has yet to make plans for her winnings, but she intends to continue playing in hopes of landing an even bigger win.
One top prize worth $75,000 remains on Loteria.
