Natural State Jackpot To Launch Daily Drawings

Little Rock, ArK

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) has announced that the Natural State Jackpot game (NSJ) will have daily drawings starting April 21, 2024, at 8 p.m. CST.

The Natural State Jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $240,000.

If players purchase a multi-draw ticket for seven or more plays this Sunday, April 14, it will also include the first Sunday, April 21, drawing. The jackpot will still start at $50,000, but beginning on Monday, April 15, it will increase by $5,000 every draw until it hits $100,000 and then will increase by $10,000 every draw.

“Initially, the jackpot increased by $5,000 every draw until it hit $150,000 and then increased by $10,000 every draw. Adding the Sunday drawing will result in larger, faster-growing jackpots,” said Mike Smith, ASL gaming director.

Expanding to daily drawings will keep the NSJ game odds and set cash prizes the same. NSJ tickets will still cost $1 per play. Players will continue to choose five numbers from 1 to 39 or have the numbers randomly selected by the lottery terminal.

Approximately 2,000 ASL-licensed lottery retailers will sell tickets for the NSJ daily drawings.

“Life-changing jackpots produce more than just lottery winners,” Smith said. “Proceeds from draw game sales drive more money for scholarships, and our retail partners receive a commission when a player cashes in a winning ticket sold at their store.”

Since 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has raised more than $1.3 billion in proceeds for scholarships and awarded more than 720,000 scholarships.
