Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $600 Million; Unclaimed Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $50,000 Sold in Huntsville
Excitement is building as the Mega Millions® jackpot jumps to $600 million for tonight’s drawing.
The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed steadily since it was last won at $348 million in June 2025. It remains the game’s highest jackpot since last year.
Mega Millions is a multi-state draw game. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.
To win the jackpot, a player must match the five winning numbers drawn, plus the Mega Ball® number. Depending on their ticket’s multiplier, players can still win between $10 and $10 million for matching only some of the winning numbers.
Five winning tickets worth more than $500 were purchased in Arkansas for last Friday’s drawing. The winning tickets were sold in Little Rock, Royal, West Helena, Mulberry and Fort Smith.
Mega Millions tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from the lottery’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where to Play page on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.
