Mega Millions Jackpot is Now Over $1 Billion
Friday night’s Mega Millions® jackpot will mark the fifth highest in the game’s history at $1.15 billion.
Three Mega Millions jackpots have been claimed in 2024: one in March at $1.128 billion, another in June at $552 million and another in September at $810 million.
Mega Millions is a multi-state draw game. Drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Five numbers between 1 and 70 and one Mega Ball® number between 1 and 25 are drawn. To win the jackpot, a Mega Millions player must match all six winning numbers.
Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. the night of the drawing. Players can purchase tickets with the Megaplier® option for one additional dollar per play. The Megaplier will multiply all non-jackpot winnings up to five times.
Mega Millions tickets are available at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
