Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $522 Million; LOTTO Jackpot Jumps to $2.128 Million

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

Arkansas lottery players could win big as draw game jackpots continue to rise this weekend.

The jackpot for tonight’s Mega Millions® drawing jumps to an estimated $522 million. Its estimated cash value is $241.4 million. The previous jackpot was won at $1.128 billion in March.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game. Tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings occur at 10 p.m. CST every Tuesday and Friday.

Each Mega Millions play costs $2, but players can purchase the Megaplier® option for an additional dollar per play. The Megaplier multiplies non-jackpot winnings up to five times. A 2, 3, 4, or 5 multiplier is randomly selected during the drawing to determine Megaplier prizes.

The LOTTO jackpot also rises to $2.128 million ahead of its Saturday night drawing.

LOTTO is an in-state draw game that is played and won exclusively in Arkansas. Drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers plus a bonus number are drawn, and players must match the first six numbers to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.

LOTTO ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m., and tickets cost $2 per play.
