Mega Millions Jackpot Breaks Top Ten for Tuesday Drawing; Natural State Jackpot Jumps to $460,000
The Mega Millions® jackpot rises to $575 million for tomorrow night’s drawing.
Following the August 23 drawing, this $575 million jackpot is the game’s second-highest jackpot of the year, as well as its ninth-highest jackpot overall. The Mega Millions jackpot was most recently claimed at $552 million in June 2024.
Mega Millions drawings occur twice per week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 p.m. CST. Five balls numbered 1 to 70 and one ball numbered 1 to 25 are drawn. A Mega Millions player must match all six numbers drawn to win the jackpot.
Ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. the night of the drawing, and tickets cost $2 per play. For an additional $1, players can purchase the Megaplier® option to multiply any non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times.
For tonight’s drawing, the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) is $460,000.
NSJ transitioned to daily drawings in April 2024 to encourage higher, faster-growing jackpots. The game’s highest-ever jackpot of $600,000 was claimed this past July.
NSJ drawings occur daily at 8 p.m. To win the jackpot, a player must match all five numbers drawn.
Ticket sales cut off at 7:59 p.m., and tickets cost $1 per play.
Players must be 18 years old or older to purchase any lottery product.
Mega Millions and NSJ tickets are available online and through licensed Arkansas lottery retailers. Visit the Where to Play page on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website for a list of online options.
