LOTTO Yields More Than $1 Million in Lottery Prizes

Little Rock, Ark.

Arkansas lottery players have won more than $1 million in prizes by playing the state’s newest game, LOTTO.

With a starting jackpot of $250,000, LOTTO is only played and won in Arkansas. Drawings are held at 9 p.m. in Little Rock every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are $2 per play. As with any lottery product, a player must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.

“We are excited to offer this game to the people of Arkansas,” said Eric Hagler, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery executive director. “LOTTO has the potential to create millionaires each year and will increase funding for scholarships since more money from draw game sales go to proceeds for the lottery’s beneficiary.”

A LOTTO player picks six numbers from 1 to 40. Six main numbers and a bonus number are drawn. If the player matches the first six numbers (main numbers) drawn in any order, they win the jackpot. Players who match the Bonus Number will increase any non-jackpot prizes.

Although LOTTO is still looking for its first jackpot winner since its September 2022 launch, 150,836 Arkansas players have won lower-tier prizes on the game. Four players matched the first five numbers drawn plus the Bonus Number, each winning $25,000. Additionally, 138 winners claimed $1,500 lottery prizes by only matching the first five numbers.

The LOTTO jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing is up to $1.889 million and will increase after every draw until won. For more information, go to MyArkansasLottery.com/LOTTO.
