LOTTO Jackpot Surges to $2.428 Million; Natural State Jackpot Reaches $460,000
In-state draw game jackpots soar to exciting heights for tonight’s drawings.
At $2.428 million, tonight’s LOTTO jackpot is the highest in the history of the game. The jackpot amount has grown with each draw since it was last hit in September 2023.
LOTTO is a draw game played and won only in Arkansas. It was designed to give Arkansas players a chance to win bigger prizes. Previous winners include a Sebastian County resident who claimed a $2.388 million jackpot and a Pulaski County resident who claimed a $999,000 jackpot.
Drawings occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, plus a bonus number. A LOTTO player must match these six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.
LOTTO tickets are $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m.
Another Arkansas-exclusive draw game, the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ), sees its third-highest jackpot for tonight’s drawing. The jackpot amount is now $460,000.
The game’s two highest jackpots are $520,000, won in June 2022, and $510,000, won in October 2023.
The NSJ transitioned to daily drawings in April 2024 to produce higher, faster-growing jackpots. Drawings occur at 8 p.m. NSJ tickets are $1 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 7:59 p.m.
An NSJ player selects five numbers from 1 to 39. To win the jackpot, a player must match all five numbers drawn. Once the jackpot is hit, the prize amount resets to $50,000 and increases by $5,000 every draw until it hits $100,000. After that, it increases by $10,000 every draw until it’s won.
LOTTO and NSJ tickets are available through licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, the Jackpocket app, Lotto.com, and Jackpot.com. As with any lottery game, a player must be 18 years old or older to purchase a ticket.
LOTTO and NSJ winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes. If more than one player holds a jackpot-winning ticket, prizes are split evenly among the winners.
