LOTTO Jackpot Jumps to $2.848 Million

Little Rock, Ark.

The jackpot for Wednesday night’s LOTTO drawing jumps to $2.848 million.

“At $2.848 million, this LOTTO jackpot far exceeds any other in the game’s history,” said Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Executive Director Sharon Strong. “We’re proud to have a draw game that benefits Arkansans.”

LOTTO is an Arkansas-exclusive draw game designed to give Arkansas players a chance to win big prizes. Previous jackpot winners include a Sebastian County resident who claimed a $2.338 million prize and a Pulaski County resident who claimed a $999,000 prize.

LOTTO drawings occur twice per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, as well as a bonus number. To win the jackpot, a LOTTO player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.

Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize. If more than one player holds a jackpot-winning ticket, the jackpot is divided evenly among the winners.

LOTTO ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m., and tickets cost $2 per play. As with any other lottery product, a player must be 18 years old or older to purchase a ticket.

Tickets are available via licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, the Jackpocket app, Jackpot.com and Lotto.com.
