Lottery Players Win Big with Diamond Dollars Instant Ticket

Little Rock, Ark.

Two lucky lottery players recently claimed top prizes on the same instant game.

Faulkner County resident Gary B. won $200,000 playing Diamond Dollars, a $10 instant game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on April 8.

The winning ticket was purchased at Colt’s Quick Draw, 1075 Highway 65 N. in Greenbrier.

Gary plays the lottery weekly and bought the winning ticket while visiting friends. He scratched his ticket off in the store and, to his surprise, saw that he had won the $200,000 top prize. In disbelief, he asked the store manager to check his ticket.

“Hey, what’s that say?” Gary asked, showing him the scratch-off game.

The manager’s jaw dropped.

“It says you just won $200,000!” he responded.

Excited, Gary plans to complete a long-desired home renovation and save the rest of his winnings. He also intends to continue playing lottery games.

“I’m still hoping to match five white balls and the Powerball®!” he told lottery officials.

Another player, Luis A. from Parker County, Texas, also won $200,000 playing Diamond Dollars. He claimed his prize on April 7.

The winning ticket was sold at Milan’s Mini Mart, 1080 W. Keiser Ave. in Osceola.

Luis purchased the winning ticket while working in Osceola. An avid lottery player, Luis buys scratch-off games exclusively, and this time was no exception. On a whim, he decided to try his chances with a Diamond Dollars instant ticket.

Luis scratched his ticket in the store and realized he had won big but was unsure of the prize amount. He called and visited the ASL Claim Center to confirm his win, and sure enough, he had landed the $200,000 top prize.

“It was like butterflies inside,” Luis told lottery officials.

The lucky winner remained shocked even as he collected his winnings. Although he was a loyal lottery player, he never anticipated winning such a significant prize.

“You just don’t believe it, you know,” Luis said.

Eager to help his family, Luis plans to buy a new home with his prize and continue playing lottery games.

One $200,000 top prize remains on Diamond Dollars.
