Little Rock Woman Wins $500,000 in Play It Again Drawing

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

One lucky Arkansan won a big prize with a previously non-winning lottery ticket.

Rebekah H. from Little Rock won $500,000 in the Sept. 16 Play It Again® Second-Chance drawing. She won with a non-winning $1,000,000 Cash ticket and claimed her prize on the same date.

Rebekah was driving when she received a call from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery informing her of the win.

“I didn’t believe it!” the winner shared with lottery officials.

The Little Rock woman, a frequent lottery player, regularly enters her non-winning tickets into The Club for another chance to win prizes. However, she was unaware of the Sept. 16 drawing and initially believed the call was a scam.

Rebekah’s son, also in disbelief, thought they must have contacted the wrong number.

“It didn’t really hit me until [the claims assistant] said, ‘Congratulations,’” Rebekah said, excited.

Rebekah plans to pay off debt and care for her family with her prize.

The next Play It Again Second-Chance drawing is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2025. The prize is $250,000. To see a list of eligible games or redeem points for prizes, visit The Club on MyArkansasLottery.com.
