Labor Day Weekend Brings Big Lottery Wins; Jackpots Soar for Mega Millions and LOTTO Drawings
Two lucky Arkansas lottery players landed big wins over Labor Day weekend.
A winning Powerball® ticket worth $150,000 was sold at Doublebees #111 on 473 Highway 64 E. in Conway for the September 2 drawing. The winning numbers were 8, 42, 46, 48 and 53, and the Powerball number was 22. The Power Play® multiplier was 3.
This player matched four out of five winning numbers, plus the Powerball number, to win $50,000. Because they purchased the Power Play multiplier, their prize tripled to $150,000.
Another winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold for the August 31 drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at Kum & Go #1393, 3418 Johnson Ave. Suite 393 in Jonesboro. The winning numbers were 4, 34, 35, 38 and 69. The Powerball number was 19, and the Power Play multiplier was 2.
This player also matched four out of five winning numbers, plus the Powerball number, to win $50,000. With the Power Play multiplier, their winnings doubled to $100,000.
These tickets are currently unclaimed. All draw game winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
Jackpots also continue to rise for upcoming drawings.
