Draw Game Jackpots Rise for Wednesday Draws

Little Rock, Ark.

Jackpots for both in-state and multi-state draw games are on the rise ahead of their Wednesday night drawings.

The Powerball® jackpot jumps to $850 million for Aug. 27, rising in ranks to become the seventh-largest jackpot in the draw game’s history. Tonight marks its 38th drawing, just four draws shy of tying Powerball’s longest jackpot streak of 42 consecutive draws.

Five Powerball jackpots have been claimed so far this year, most recently at $204.5 million in May. Two Arkansas lottery players have won prizes of at least $100,000 in 2025.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. To win the jackpot, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.

Closer to home, the LOTTO jackpot has also grown steadily, reaching $931,000 for its Wednesday night drawing.

Played and won only in Arkansas, LOTTO was designed to give Arkansans more chances to win big prizes. Drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, plus a Bonus Number. To win the jackpot, players must match the first six numbers drawn. Players who match three or more digits, with or without the Bonus Number, are eligible for other prizes.

Previous winners include a Yell County resident who claimed a $5.123 million jackpot and a Sebastian County resident who claimed a $2.338 million jackpot.
