Charleston Woman Wins $50,000 Playing Scratch-Off Game

Little Rock, Ark.

An Arkansan recently won her dream lottery prize playing a scratch-off game.

M. Conway from Charleston won $50,000 playing $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game. She claimed her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on Feb. 11.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store #3267, 9102 Rogers Ave. in Fort Smith.

Conway, a frequent lottery player, had long kept her eye on $50,000 Frenzy’s top prize. The ticket caught her attention when it launched, and on Monday afternoon, the player decided to try her chances. She bought the $20 ticket with her winnings from another instant game.

The Charleston woman scratched off her ticket in the store, only looking for an “instant win” symbol. When she found no such symbol, Conway decided to scan her ticket anyway. To her surprise, she received a message telling her to collect her prize at the ASL Claim Center.

“Now, hold on,” Conway thought. “Wait a minute!”

Excited, the player checked the ticket again. Although there was no instant win symbol, one of her numbers matched the winning numbers listed at the top of the ticket, earning her the game’s coveted $50,000 top prize.

Conway celebrated her win by dancing in the store. She later shared the good news with her husband and immediate family.

The Charleston woman plans to go on vacation with her prize.

$50,000 Frenzy has 76 top prizes remaining.
