Camden Man Claims $680,000 Natural State Jackpot; LOTTO Jackpot Rises to $4.12 Million for Saturday Night

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

A Camden resident won $680,000 in the Nov. 5 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on Nov. 6.

The winning ticket was sold at Tobacco Station USA #4, 100 Garden Oaks Drive S.W. in Camden, and the winning numbers were 5, 15, 25, 27 and 30.

The Camden man purchased the winning Quick Pick ticket with prize money from previous NSJ drawings. He often plays lottery games in hopes of winning a huge prize. However, after another Camden resident claimed a $1 million instant ticket prize in October, he wondered whether the city could have a second big winner.

Still, he turned his attention toward NSJ as its jackpot climbed to a record-breaking $680,000.

“Somebody needs to win it,” the Camden resident told himself.

Unbeknownst to the man, his optimism would soon pay off.

The morning after the draw, he scanned his ticket with the AR Lottery + Club app and, to his bewilderment, was told to visit the ASL Claim Center.

“That’s weird,” he thought. “It’s never said that before.”

Curious, the Camden resident checked his numbers to determine the prize amount. To his complete shock, the computer-selected numbers on his ticket matched all five winning numbers.

He had hit the jackpot.

“That’s when I started shaking,” the Camden resident told lottery officials.

The lucky winner first shared the good news with his parents and then his wife. He plans to pay off debt, save money and relax with his winnings. He also intends to continue playing lottery games and is now eyeing the LOTTO’s biggest jackpot yet.

The Natural State Jackpot is $60,000 for tonight’s drawing.

The LOTTO jackpot is $4.12 million for Saturday night’s drawing.

LOTTO is an Arkansas-exclusive draw game. Drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 and a Bonus Number are drawn. A player must match these six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the Bonus Number.
