$25,000 LOTTO Ticket Sold in Brinkley; Powerball Jackpot Hits $900 Million for Tonight’s Drawing

Little Rock, ARK.

Someone who purchased a LOTTO ticket at Road Ranger #278, 2202 N. Main St. in Brinkley, for last Saturday night’s drawing is holding a ticket worth $25,000. The winning numbers were 34, 18, 14, 6, 21 and 28 with the Bonus Number 1.

LOTTO players must match six main numbers to win the jackpot or match other number combinations with or without the bonus number – to win non-jackpot prizes up to $25,000. The player had five of the first six numbers drawn plus the Bonus Number.

“We urge all players who purchased at Road Ranger #278 to check your LOTTO tickets,” said Eric Hagler, executive director of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. “The winner has 180 days from last Saturday to claim your prize.”

The LOTTO jackpot, which is only played and won in Arkansas, is up to $634,000 for Wednesday night’s drawing. Drawings are held at 9 p.m. in Little Rock every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are $2 per play.

The Powerball® jackpot continues to grow and now stands at an estimated $900 million for tonight’s drawing.

“This jackpot currently ranks as the third largest Powerball jackpot, only behind the world record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot from last year and the $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot won in 2016,” said Hagler. “It is also the seventh largest U.S. lottery jackpot.”

Tonight’s drawing is scheduled for 9:59 p.m. If a player wins the jackpot tonight, they may choose between an annuitized prize worth an estimated $900 million or a lump sum payment estimated at $465.1 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

The jackpot will continue to grow if no one claims the winning ticket.

Hagler added, “Life-changing jackpots produce more than just lottery winners. Proceeds from draw game sales drive more money for scholarships.”

Since 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has raised more than $1.2 billion in scholarship proceeds and awarded more than 720,000 scholarships.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play and can be purchased at any lottery retailer or on the Jackpocket app. A player can also get the Power Play®, which multiplies any non-jackpot prizes won with an additional $1. You can ask for a computer-generated Quick Pick or choose your own lucky numbers.
