Mega Millions Jackpot Soars to Game’s Seventh-Highest

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

Friday night’s massive Mega Millions® jackpot is now the seventh-highest in the history of the game.

The Mega Millions jackpot is $825 million for tomorrow night’s drawing. It surpasses September’s $810 million jackpot for the seventh-place spot.

In addition to September, two other Mega Millions jackpots have been claimed this year: one in March at $1.128 billion and another in June at $552 million.

Mega Millions is a multi-state draw game. Drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Five numbers between 1 and 70 and one Mega Ball® number between 1 and 25 are drawn. To win the jackpot, a Mega Millions player must match all six winning numbers.

Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. the night of the drawing. Players can purchase tickets with the Megaplier® option for one additional dollar per play. The Megaplier will multiply all non-jackpot winnings up to five times.

Mega Millions tickets are available at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
