Mega Millions Jackpot Rises to $541 Million

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

The Mega Millions® jackpot pushes past $500 million in its fourth jackpot run of 2024.

The Mega Millions jackpot is $541 million for tomorrow night’s drawing.

The draw game’s jackpot has been claimed three times this year: once in March at $1.128 billion, once in June at $552 million, and once in September at $810 million.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game. Five numbers between 1 and 70 and one Mega Ball® number between 1 and 25 are drawn. To win the jackpot, a Mega Millions player must match all six winning numbers.

Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. the night of the drawing. Players can purchase the Megaplier® multiplier for one additional dollar per play. The Megaplier multiplies non-jackpot winnings up to five times. A 2, 3, 4, or 5 multiplier is randomly selected during the drawing to determine Megaplier prizes.

Mega Millions is set for major enhancements in spring 2025. Game changes include bigger jackpots, built-in multipliers to increase prizes for every play and better odds of winning.
