Rogers Resident Wins $350,000 Playing Instant Game
One lucky Arkansan recently claimed a massive lottery prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center.
Rogers resident Jonnatan Aguilar won $350,000 with a $20 ticket for the $350,000 Cash Payout instant game. He claimed his prize on Oct. 30.
The winning ticket was purchased at Kum & Go #405 at 2710 SE Moberly Lane in Bentonville.
Jonnatan purchased two $350,000 Cash Payout tickets on Oct. 29 during a casual drive.
“I just had a good feeling that day,” Jonnatan told lottery officials.
The Rogers man scratched off his tickets while sitting in his driveway. He won nothing on the first ticket and had low expectations for the second. However, in a stroke of luck, the very last square on his ticket held the $350,000 top prize.
Jonnatan stared at the ticket in disbelief.
“I just sat there in silence to compose myself,” he said. “I thought I scratched it wrong.”
The lucky winner immediately called his father to share the good news. Jonnatan’s father initially hesitated to believe him, thinking he must have bought a fake ticket as a joke. His disbelief soon transformed into congratulations when Jonnatan showed him the winning ticket.
“I’m just awestruck,” the winner admitted, still stunned.
Jonnatan plans to help his parents pay off their house with his prize.
One $350,000 top prize remains on the $350,000 Cash Payout instant game.
Last week, 80 players claimed lottery prizes of more than $500 at the ASL Claim Center. Their winnings totaled $815,358.
