$40,000 Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Clarendon; Historic LOTTO Jackpot Climbs to $2.763 Million
A winning Mega Millions® ticket worth $40,000 was sold for the July 23 drawing at Aclaren Inc., 503 Madison St. in Clarendon. The winning numbers were 3, 9, 14, 26 and 51, and the Megaball® was 21. The Megaplier® was 4.
The player matched four of the five white balls and the Megaball number. However, they increased their $10,000 prize to $40,000 by including the multiplier option for an additional $1 per play.
“We urge all players who played Mega Millions at this retailer location to check their tickets,” said Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Executive Director Sharon Strong. “The winner has 180 days from the July 23 draw date to claim their prize.”
The Mega Millions jackpot is $306 million for Friday night.
The LOTTO jackpot also rises to $2.763 million ahead of tonight’s drawing.
The LOTTO jackpot has climbed since it was last hit in September 2023, now cumulating in the record-breaking $2.763 million prize. A Sebastian County resident claimed the previous highest jackpot of $2.338 million in May 2023.
LOTTO is a draw game played and won only in Arkansas. It is designed to offer Arkansas players a chance to win bigger prizes.
“This LOTTO jackpot is monumental for an Arkansas-exclusive draw game,” said Strong. “It’s exciting to know that, through the scholarships funded by lottery ticket sales, Arkansas students and players will both benefit.”
LOTTO is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. Six numbers and a bonus number are drawn. To win the jackpot, a player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.
LOTTO tickets are available for purchase through licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, the Jackpocket app, Jackpot.com and Lotto.com.
