Camden Man Wins $25,000 LOTTO Prize with Ticket Ordered Via Jackpocket App

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

One lucky Arkansan recently won a big lottery prize with a ticket ordered via the Jackpocket mobile app.

Camden resident Redginal M. won $25,000 in the June 1 LOTTO drawing. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on June 7.

The winning numbers were 16, 17, 25, 34, 35 and 40. The bonus number was 8.

Redginal, a frequent lottery player, ordered the winning ticket as part of his weekly routine. Having no success with other draw games, the Camden resident prefers in-state games like LOTTO and the Natural State Jackpot. For LOTTO, Redginal always reuses the same numbers from an old Quick Pick ticket.

“I don’t let anything go unturned because you never know,” Redginal said.

Luckily, his consistency paid off.

The Camden man discovered his win the morning after the drawing when he received a “Big Winner” notification from the Jackpocket app.

At first, Redginal thought he had only won $25; his wife “spied out” the extra zeros. He had actually won a $25,000 prize for matching five out of six winning numbers and the bonus number.

The winner insisted that he stayed calm upon realizing he had won such a large prize.

“I tried to keep my composure,” Redginal smiled. “Got to keep my heart right.”

His wife, on the other hand, could not contain her excitement.

“I was hollering and screaming!” she said, throwing her hands in the air.

So far, the couple has only shared the good news with their daughter, and the winner currently has no specific plans for the prize.

“I’m just glad it happened,” Redginal said.

The winner added that he has already bought another ticket in hopes of winning the LOTTO jackpot. Still unclaimed, the jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing is $2.257 million.
