LOTTO Jackpot Exceeds $2 Million Ahead of Weekend Draw

Little Rock, Ark.

The LOTTO jackpot has surged to $2.042 million for Saturday night's drawing.

This is the second time LOTTO has exceeded the $2 million mark. The game first achieved this milestone with its inaugural jackpot run. In May 2023, a resident of Sebastian County claimed a $2.338 million prize.

LOTTO is exclusively played and won in Arkansas, with drawings every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, along with a bonus number. Players need to match the first six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. There are also other prizes for players who match three or more numbers, with or without the bonus number.

Once the jackpot is won, it resets to $250,000 and increases with every draw until it is won. If there are multiple jackpot-winning tickets, the prize is split equally among the winners.

Ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. Tickets are $2 per play. As with any lottery product, a player must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery would like to remind players that LOTTO—like all lottery games—was designed to be a fun and relatively inexpensive form of entertainment. Therefore, being aware of the game odds and playing within your financial limits is crucial.
