LOTTO Jackpot Surges to $1.957 Million for Saturday Draw; $110,000 Natural State Jackpot Ticket Sold in Jefferson

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

The LOTTO jackpot rises to $1.957 million for its Saturday night drawing.

Quickly approaching a milestone of $2 million, this weekend’s LOTTO jackpot is the second-highest in the game’s history.

Previous winners have claimed $2.338 million and $999,000 jackpots.

LOTTO, which is played and won only in Arkansas, gives in-state players higher chances of winning big prizes.

A LOTTO player picks six numbers from 1 to 40. Six numbers and a bonus number are drawn. A player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.

LOTTO drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. Players must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket.

A winning Natural State Jackpot ticket worth $110,000 was sold for the May 10 drawing at J & B Gas and Grill on 4200 Highway 365 S. in Jefferson. The winning numbers were 14, 20, 34, 35 and 37. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

Research indicates there is a lottery prize winner every 1.3 seconds. Additionally, purchasing these lottery tickets helps fund education in Arkansas, with over 720,000 college scholarships awarded to Arkansans since 2009.
