Benton County Store Sells $1 Million Lottery Ticket; LOTTO Jackpot Climbs to $912,000 for Tonight’s Drawing
An Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailer in Bentonville recently sold a top prize-winning $1 million lottery ticket. The prize was claimed Tuesday at the ASL Claim Center in Little Rock. The claimant has chosen to remain anonymous.
The winning $20 $1,000,000 Cash scratch-off ticket was purchased from Walmart #4376 Fuel Station, 1402 N. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville.
Retailers receive a 1 percent commission from sales of winning lottery products, which means Walmart #4376 Fuel Station will receive a $10,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
With the million-dollar win, two top prizes of $1 million remain on the $1,000,000 Cash game, and a $50,000 ticket is still in circulation.
Players also have two chances to become a multi-millionaire this week with Powerball® and Mega Millions® jackpots totaling more than $471 million. The Powerball jackpot for tonight has reached $386 million. The Mega Millions jackpot stands at $85 million for Friday night’s drawing.
With no LOTTO jackpot winner since May, the lottery's grand prize continues to soar and sits at $912,000 for tonight's drawing.
LOTTO is an Arkansas-only jackpot game with drawings every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are $2 per play and can be purchased at all lottery retailers or on the Jackpocket app. For game odds and winning numbers, visit MyArkansasLottery.com.
